Synaesthesia: Painting by Numbers (limited edition archival giclée print)

£59.00

Synaesthesia is a neurological phenomenon where the brain makes unusual sensory connections between different abstract concepts.

For me, every number has a unique colour palette associated with it. I did not realise that not everyone understands numbers in this way until I was an adult - I just assumed that was how everybody enjoyed mathematics.

In the painting Synaesthesia: Painting by Numbers, the numbers 1 to 1024 are depicted, with the patterns between numbers emerging through the dimensions of the painting. The colourful central squares are surrounded by squares of white, depicting the different types of infinity.

This oil painting has been reproduced in signed, editioned, giclée prints on archival quality acid free paper. A museum-quality fine art reproduction of the original artwork, this is the closest a print can look to an oil painting.

Print dimensions: 49 x 42cm

Limited edition of 100.

Please note that due to the dimensions of this print, it will be posted rolled up in a cardboard tube. This is to ensure no damage to the print in transit.
