'Bereft' is an oil painting created for the L'appel du Vide // Call of the Void exhibition in 2014. It depicts an insect that has fallen to the ground and is unable to fly.
L'appel du Vide is the phenomenon of instrusive thoughts. If you have ever had the experience of walking over a high bridge, and feeling for a moment that you could throw yourself off, you have experienced the Call of the Void.
This giclee print reproduces the oil painting in archival inks on acid free 310gsm paper.
The size of the print is 38cm x 29cm. Each print is signed and editioned.
