Love Riot, Giclee Prints, 2012

£15.00

Back in 2012 I was living in Bristol and I had just recently got my first art studio. I was working a 9-5 in publishing, spending my evenings with graffiti artists and my weekends on various protests. I also had a pechant for 'Love Hearts' sweets.

One day, sat at my desk, munching away, my consecutive sweets said 'Hold Me', and then, 'Yes Dear'. I immediately saw in my head two people conversing via the medium of semi-romantic sugar-snack. A few minutes later I realised the two people should be on oppostie sides of a protest.

The love riot series was born. A lot of sweeties were eaten until I found the correct combination of conversations. The original drawings, done in black pen on paper, were heavily inspired by Banksy, but I was in my early twenties and living in Bristol, so what do you expect.

These giclee prints are signed and dated and are sized between 18x18cm and 20x20cm.

Once they're gone, they're gone.
